Tree Fallen on House or Car
Immediate structural risk. Do not enter the building until the tree is assessed and removed. Call us first, then your insurance company.
Tree on Power Lines
Call 911 and your utility company (Eversource or National Grid) first, then call us. We will coordinate removal once the line is de-energized.
Tree Blocking Road or Driveway
We can clear access fast. If the road is a public street, the town may also dispatch a crew — we handle private property immediately.
Partially Fallen Tree Leaning on Structure
A hung or leaning tree is unstable and unpredictable. Do not attempt to move it yourself. We will safely rig and lower it away from the structure.
Storm Damage with Hanging Branches
Widow-makers — large broken branches suspended overhead — are among the most dangerous situations. Keep everyone away until we arrive.
Uprooted Tree Threatening Property
An uprooted tree can shift further at any moment. We will assess, stabilize, and remove before further damage occurs.
Real Emergency Stories
Last January, a 70-foot white pine snapped at the base during an ice storm and landed across the roof of a house on Boston Road in Billerica. We were there in 25 minutes. The family was safe — the tree landed on the garage side, not the bedrooms. We had the tree off the roof and the tarps up before the insurance adjuster even called back.
Summer 2025, a thunderstorm ripped through Chelmsford and dropped three trees across Dalton Road. Power was out for the whole block. We cleared the road by midnight and came back at dawn to finish the removals and chip everything.
We got a call from a property manager in Lowell at 4am — a dead ash tree had dropped a massive limb through the windshield of a parked car in a commercial lot. Nobody was hurt, but they needed it gone before tenants arrived at 7am. We made it happen.

Follow-up work (full cleanup, stump grinding, additional removals) is quoted separately at our standard non-emergency rates. Free estimates for all non-emergency work.
FAQ
How fast can you respond to a tree emergency?
Typically on-site within 1 hour anywhere in our service area. We’re based in Billerica — center of Middlesex County — so response times to Chelmsford, Lowell, Tewksbury, Burlington, and surrounding towns are fast. For active emergencies (tree on house, blocking road), Keith is usually in the truck before you’re off the phone.
How much does emergency tree removal cost?
Emergency rates range from $500 to $3,000+ depending on the situation — tree size, location, time of day, and equipment needed. We always quote a price before we start. No surprises, even at 2am. Follow-up work like stump grinding is quoted separately at standard rates.
Do you work with homeowners insurance for storm damage?
Yes. We deal with insurance companies constantly. We document everything — photos, written descriptions, measurements — and provide itemized estimates your adjuster can work with. Most standard homeowner policies cover storm damage tree removal when the tree hits a structure.
What should I do while waiting for your crew?
Stay away from the tree. If it’s on power lines, call 911 and your utility company (Eversource or National Grid) first. Don’t try to move branches yourself — especially anything under tension. If the tree is on your house, leave the building if possible. Take photos for insurance from a safe distance.
Do you remove trees from power lines?
We coordinate with the utility company for trees on active power lines. The line has to be de-energized before we can work on it. Once it’s safe, we handle the tree removal. For trees near (but not touching) power lines, we can usually work immediately.
Are you available on holidays and weekends?
Yes — 24/7, 365 days a year. Trees don’t wait for business hours and neither do we. Some of our busiest emergency calls come during nor’easters, ice storms, and summer thunderstorms — which don’t check the calendar.
